Overview of the Role:
Starcrest Communications is hiring a Content Creator to produce engaging short-form video content for social media. If you enjoy creating Reels, shooting, video editing, and turning ideas into social media content, this role is for you. You will manage short-form video projects from concept to final delivery, creating mobile-first content that reflects current social media trends.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Create mobile-first video edits for social media platforms with quick turnaround times
  • Write scripts, hooks, and captions for social media content
  • Apply visual storytelling techniques to create engaging, on-brand content
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt them into original content ideas
  • Collaborate with the team on content ideas, content planning, and deadlines
  • Manage projects from ideation and scripting through shooting, editing, and delivery
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Filmmaking, Media, Communication, or a related field
  • Knowledge of social media trends and visual storytelling
  • Ability to shoot and edit short-form video content, including mobile video editing
  • Ability to write basic scripts, hooks, and social media copy
  • Experience with video editing software or apps such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools
  • Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube
  • Fresh graduates and early-career candidates are welcome to apply
